How the Chase Alert Works
Check Tony's Blog Specific Chase-Related Plans
| SEVERE - I am leaving my base in the next 12 to 24 hours or am already chasing. This is in effect through all of May & June as well as any trip of 1 week or more. |
| HIGH - Chase plans are being finalized and are likely to be carried out within the next 24 to 48 hours. |
| MODERATE - Forecasts are showing a good chance for chasing within the next 3 to 5 days. Making initial arrangements for a possible chase trip. |
| SLIGHT - Forecasts are hinting at the potential for a chasable system within the next week or two. I'm keeping tabs on the situation. |
| NONE - No chase plans are being made at this time. |
The alert system pertains only to Tony's chasing plans. It has nothing to do with forecasts issued by SPC, NWS, CPC, or any other forecasting source.
All alerts are subject to quick change do not guarantee a chase.
