To ammend the earlier post, NWS DEN has issued a Snow Advisory for the area which I'm sure was a result of this convective band of snow which kicked off the snow hours earlier than originally expected. Instability is actually present this morning which combined with other features has aided greatly in producing the moderate snowfall we've seen this morning. Because of this and the expected snow later today, a Snow Advisory was issued for expected accumulations of 3 to 6 inches by storm's end. If this tops the 5 inch range at my apartment, it'll take the snowstorm of the year for me! *LOL* Now, off to Probability and Statistics (or the Bat Cave)... *ZOOOM*
