Some weather to actually talk about today! Was awakened from a dead sleep this morning by insane winds which kicked up and blew in near white-out conditions for about 10 minutes shortly after 9am. Big heavy flakes flew sideways through the air as winds gusted as high as 80mph. They continued through the day, subsiding to blustery before going apeshit again after 4pm where winds again hit the 80 and 90mph range. NWS Boulder's severe page didn't list any gusts since this morning (my 75mph report and 64mph at DIA), so I have no idea what else went on, but I did report smoe wind damage as I was driving pies around this evening and came across a lightpole and street sign that did a header into the street near our work. Winds have again subsided and will likely remain on the low side as the system responsible moves east and will create even more insane fire conditions over Oklahoma and Texas this weekend. God be with those people, things are looking very bad down there.

My car was towed to the insurance claim center today, so I figure I'll know something more within a week. I'll let you all know once I learn something.
