In a rather easy and quick method, I was able to finish the last of my video editing this afternoon. Last night, I ran out the 26 minutes of my May 29, 2004 footage and this morning, picked up immediately to finish the rest of the segments as well as the music videos. All that's left to do is render the "feature project" together which I'll do when I'm at work tonight, then do the DVD-specific stuff tomorrow (finish menus, space budget, etc). I should have the first copy burned before Sunday night, so here's hoping that it works well!
In other news, it snowed 4 inches here overnight last night in a surprising dumping which was only suppose to be an inch or so. When I went to bed at 1am, we had a couple inches of thick, heavy, wet snow. This morning, that was doubled; skies quickly cleared and the winds came in to blow some of the snow from the trees to give the strange appearance of moderate falling snow under blue skies. Far cry from yesterday's 61 degree day, but those who know the weather in Colorado realize that temps getting that high usually means you'll have snow within 12 hours. At 2pm yesterday, the temp at Centennial reached 61 degrees; I went to bed at 1am, 11 hours later), and 2 inches of snow was already on the ground. Thye don't lie when they say wait, it will change soon!
